This week's top news to keep more money in your pockets:
🚀 Pointers:
As the year winds down, I’ve been reflecting on what 2024 has taught me as a business owner. It’s been a year of growth, change, and some major lightbulb moments. 💡 Here are my top three lessons that shaped how I show up as an entrepreneur—and why they might inspire you too.
- Build in Time to Rest 💤
This was the first year I haven’t experienced seasonal depression, and I credit that to one key shift: I intentionally planned my year to end in early December. Instead of racing to close deals for January or scrambling to hit deadlines before everyone went out of office, I wrapped up my big projects early and gave myself space to breathe. Rest isn’t just a luxury—it’s a game-changer for your mental health and clarity. Trust me, your business will be better for it.
- It's About Impact, Not Just Income 🌍
Every time I chased a revenue goal just because social media told me I should, I failed. But when I focused on the impact I wanted to create, the money showed up. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a financial goal—just make sure it’s rooted in the value you’re bringing to your audience, not someone else’s definition of success. Your business isn’t about hitting arbitrary numbers; it’s about changing lives, including your own.
- Have Fun 🎉
Let’s be real—not every day in entrepreneurship is sunshine ☀️ and rainbows 🌈. But overall, you should love the life you’re building for yourself more days than not. If it’s not fun, what’s the point? This year, I’ve leaned into joy—creating offers I’m excited about, working with people I genuinely like, and making space for laughter even on tough days. That’s how you build something sustainable and meaningful.
⚡️ Products:
Entrepreneurship is demanding, but keeping your sanity intact is non-negotiable. Here are three tools that help me stay grounded and calm, even on the busiest days:
- Calm
Meditation has been a game-changer for managing stress and keeping a clear head. Whether it’s a quick 5-minute break or a longer session, Calm helps me refocus and tackle the day with a fresh perspective.
- Amazon Subscriptions
The life of an entrepreneur is always hectic and running out of essentials could literally send you over a cliff. Amazon’s recurring subscriptions make sure I’m always stocked up on basics without lifting a finger—one less thing to worry about!
-
Candy Crush (Yes, the Game!)
I know, I know—it’s old school. But there’s something so soothing about crushing candy before bed. It’s my guilty pleasure that helps me unwind and quiet my thoughts after a long day.
*Heads up: I may earn a commission if you grab these, but I only recommend tools I actually love and use in my business!
🔮 Predictions:
Whether you're a corporate professional climbing the ladder or an entrepreneur building your dream, your personal brand is what will set you apart in 2025.
Qualifications and experience alone aren’t enough anymore—there are countless others with similar credentials.
The real question is: What makes you stand out?
Your customers, clients, or employers want to know you—the story, the value, the unique perspective that makes you different from everyone else.
That’s why I’m launching a personal branding course to teach you the exact strategies I’ve used to make bold career pivots and build a brand that opens doors.
I went from a corporate professional in NYC’s advertising industry to a DEI startup founder featured in Forbes and Fast Company, to a small business marketing expert recognized as a rising star and emerging leader.
None of that would’ve been possible without a strong personal brand.
Now, I’m inviting you to be part of my founding class to help shape this course for the future. But here’s the thing—I’m only accepting 10 students. This is your chance to get personalized support, exclusive access, and a front-row seat to a transformative experience.
