Is your marketing strategy working, or are you just posting and wishing for the best?

Let’s be honest: posting daily and hoping someone buys isn’t a strategy. It’s a guessing game. If you’re not tracking what’s actually driving traffic, leads, or sales, you might be busy... but not effective.

Start by asking: What’s the goal of my marketing this quarter? Is it more email signups? Product sales? Booked calls? Once that’s clear, every post, email, or ad should be tied to that goal.

Check your data. What content is getting the most clicks or replies? What’s driving people to your site or offer? If you don’t know, start with simple metrics like:

  • Website traffic sources
  • Email open + click rates
  • Social posts that lead to DMs or saves

Next, tighten your funnel. If you’re getting likes but no sales, where are people dropping off? Is your message clear? Is your offer positioned well? Are you actually solving a problem?

Marketing that works tells the right story, to the right people, at the right time. If you’re not seeing results, don’t post more. Step back, re-align your strategy, and test smarter, not harder.

But recently, Google rolled out its own eSignature feature directly within Google Workspace and it’s been a game-changer. Not only has it streamlined my contract workflow, but it’s also saved me both time and money.

  • Saying "No" - Okay, not a product, but definitely a power move. Lately, I’ve noticed myself drifting from my goals by saying “yes” to opportunities that aren’t fully aligned all in the name of chasing extra income. But that short-term gain has come at a cost: overwhelm, distraction, and a lack of clarity. The more I practice saying “no,” the more focused and grounded I feel. It’s helped me reconnect with what actually moves the needle in my business and not just what fills my calendar.

  • ChatGPT Image Creator - Like most people on the internet, I've been playing around with ChatGPT's latest update and it's ability to generate AI images. It’s fun to experiment with, and the technology is impressive, but let’s me say, Canva isn't going anywhere anytime soon. For now, it’s a cool tool to play with, but not quite ready to replace my go-to design platform.

I had a conversation earlier this week about how founders can start building brand awareness before their product, service, or tech is fully finalized. The truth is you shouldn’t wait until everything is perfectly packaged to start promoting.

Founder-led content is what moves the needle right now. It’s what helps people shift from the tools they’re already using to give your solution a shot. Your potential customers aren’t following business pages anymore. They’re following people. Founders. Visionaries. Storytellers.

They want to know you. What you believe in. What inspired your idea. Whether your values align with theirs. And that connection starts with showing up and telling your story early, even when things are still messy or in progress.
