Why aren’t people engaging with my content anymore?

If your likes, shares, and comments have slowed down, it doesn’t always mean your content is bad. It might just be... misaligned.

People engage with content that speaks to them, not at them. If your posts are starting to feel like background noise, it’s time to ask:

  • Are you saying something new or just repeating what everyone else is saying?
  • Are you creating for your ideal customer or for your peers?
  • Are you showing your face and story, or hiding behind generic graphics?

Social media algorithms favor consistency and originality. So if you’ve been posting just to keep up, it’s time to slow down and reconnect with your core message. What do your people actually care about right now? What problems are they trying to solve?

Look at your last 10 posts. Which ones got saves, shares, or DMs? That’s the content your audience wants. Do more of that and less of what you think you “should” be doing.

Sometimes, the fix isn’t more content. It’s better connection.
