Entrepreneurship is demanding—we all know that, Reader. The late nights, early mornings, and everything in between can make it easy to forget why we started in the first place.

For me, my journey has always been about joy, freedom, and family. These are the things that truly matter, and they’re what keep me going, even on the hard days.

As we approach the end of the year, I want to encourage you to pause. Take a deep breath. Reflect on everything you’ve accomplished, big or small.

Rest without guilt, knowing that taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your business.

Let this holiday season be a reminder of the joy you’re building, the freedom you’re creating, and the love that surrounds you.

Your dreams will still be there waiting for you in the new year—but for now, it’s time to recharge.

Here's a glimpse at what we'll cover today:

💰 Profits:

This week's top news to keep more money in your pockets:

🚀 Pointers:

The beginning days of entrepreneurship require a lot of hard work. But, scaling your company is all about working smarter -- and building a truly sustainable business (meaning a business that doesn't require you to put in a bajillion hours of work in order to run smoothly). Here are three ways to automate your business so you can rest, recharge, and still drive revenue:

  1. Automate Your Emails 📧
If I'm being honest with you, I wrote this email and scheduled it 2 weeks ago. That's because I understand how important it is to stay consistent with my marketing. Be more like me in 2025, Reader. Email platforms like Kit* allow you to set up automations so that when a subscriber takes an action (i.e. signs up for your newsletter, abandons their cart, purchases a product) you automatically send them series of email introducing your brand, recommending other products, reminding them to buy -- all without you lifting a finger.
  2. Streamline Scheduling 📆
Stop wasting time on back-and-forth emails for booking appointments or meetings. Use tools like Google Appointment Scheduling or Calendly to let clients schedule (or reschedule) directly, based on your availability. You set the rules, and the system handles the rest. You can also add payment options for consultations or services to get paid upfront!
  3. Simplify Your Invoicing 💳
Chasing down invoices is a waste of energy. From the first day I stared my entrepreneur journey, I've used Quickbooks to help me send invoices, track payments, and even automate reminders for overdue accounts. If you offer subscriptions or recurring services, you can even set up automatic billing so you're never left waiting for payments.

⚡️ Products:

3 products to keep your business running smoothly:

  • Quickbooks*
Quickbooks is the ultimate tool for small business owners wanting to manage their finances with ease. From tracking expenses and sending invoices to automating payroll and generating reports, it streamlines your bookkeeping so you can focus on growing your business.
  • Kit (Formerly Known as ConvertKit)*
Kit makes it easy to build an email list, nurture your sales leads, and convert subscribers into customers. And my most
favoritest part is that you can set your email marketing on autopilot with Kit's automation features. (That means you're always marketing...even when you're sleeping.)
  • The Profit Makers Club Instagram Account
Our IG channel is a free, real-time resource packed with an ever-growing library of tips, tactics and strategies to grow your business. Go ahead and give us a follow today.

*Heads up: I may earn a commission if you grab these, but I only recommend tools I actually love and use in my business!

🔮 Predictions:

Let's have a heart-to-heart for a moment, Reader: hustle culture is exhausting. Somewhere along the way, we were told that the only way to succeed was to grind 24/7, be #TeamNoSleep, and sacrifice our well-being to reach our goals.

But here's something I need to really get off my chest...burnout doesn't lead to breakthroughs. It leads to bad decisions, resentment, and a business you don't even enjoy running.

Rest isn't a reward for hard work -- it's a requirement. When you're constantly in motion, it's easy to lose sight of why you started in the first place.

Rest allows you to pause, reflect, and realign with your vision. It's in the moments of stillness, not chaos, where clarity is born. A rested mind can spot opportunities, solve problems creatively, and plan strategically in ways a stressed mind never can.

So, as you plan for the new year, let's leave hustle culture behind. Build rest into your schedule, protect it fiercely, and watch how much more you're able to accomplish when you prioritize your well-being.

The most successful entrepreneurs aren't the ones who never stop; they're the ones who know when to.
